We can carry out a routine performance evaluation and service to ensure the cabinet is operating correctly and providing protection for the operator, product and environment.

 

There is a statutory requirement to carry out testing and validation of microbiological safety cabinets to

BS EN12469-2000 and include HEPA filter integrity,

airflow velocity and visualization tests, operation of airflow indicators and alarms, and

KI-Discus (aperture protection factor) tests.  It is also important to meet requirements relating to Health and Safety and COSHH.

 

Reports are issued following each visit and provide a record of performance levels for the safety cabinet and assurance of conformance.
